Mrs. Frizberg has been in the Pharmaceutical industry for 21 years and held various positions in the UK & Globally. She started her career at Glaxo Welcome in the UK in 1993 and subsequently moved to Ferring Pharmaceuticals and then Sanofi Aventis where she gained extensive product launch and strategy development experience with specialist hospital and primary care products. Mrs. Frizberg joined Roche Pharma in May 2006; she has worked in more than 12 different Therapeutic Areas and moved into her current role as General Manager in July 2012. Christiane Schumacher is an HR professional with 17 years of experience who has lived and worked in 7 different countries, occupying general local and global HR roles as well as roles in HR centers of excellence at corporate levels. She has progressed her career from Product Marketing Manager for Canon Germany, to Global HR Manager for Alstom Power in Germany developing the global HR strategy for over 1000 international employees on 40 Power Plant projects in 25 countries, through to her current position as HR Director APAC, Roche Pharmaceuticals (Singapore).
She’s a very energetic and engaging person who strongly invests in people relationships. The years in HR have made her a strong believer in the power of culture and leadership in an organization, seeing them as the critical success factors for organizations today and in the future. The breadth of her career and the geographical reach has led her to be exposed to different markets and cultures, the transformation in Roche now being an even more exciting journey into very different and new ways of working.
